Restoration in the Remains
Hello Again!
Well, I’ve been so busy over here in Ohio, with mine, Susan’s and Cheri’s boys all graduating from high school at once, with the ceremonies, the formalities and the hub-bub. Susan’s ex-husband died just a week ago, taking us all by surprise! It was a very sad and close time for all of us, with lots of friends and families rallying around- we began by mourning how much we will miss him, but then that feeling morphed into celebrating him, and then on to celebrating what a wonderful group of family and friends remain to hang tight. Susan’s children were like super heroes through all of this, and we felt blessed as we laughed and cried together.
Cheri is looking great these days! Thank you for any prayers or meditations you are sending for the shrinking of her tumor. She looks fantastic, like even more of a model, now that she’s so thin (hey, look for the positive)! She has been healing like crazy, changing from the inside out into someone who will survive! So we’ll see- this tumor didn’t present as something that could be overcome, but she is pouring all she’s got into learning from it- hearing it- listening to what it has to say about what she is supposed to change in her life to survive. Changing in order to grow; growing into her original pattern of being (without all the garbage).
Restoration is at hand!
We all need to learn from her tumor, really, and the death of Susan’s ex, so suddenly. We know life is short, we always hear that, but I think I may really have gotten the lesson this time. Do what you’re supposed to be doing. Don’t try to please people, but please God in all you do. Live your life as a transparent testimony to the vibrant and creative life God has given you while you’re here.
Create! Love! Forgive! Make time for someone! Smile! And you know…. don’t try to change everyone. On the flip side, don’t swallow all that nonsense God never asked you to swallow. Ask for what you need, but not from people… but from your Maker, who will supply all your needs. Forgive people but Live in God!!!!!!!
